    The interesting thing about this story is that drones are now part of activism.

    A story is not a story unless you can get video; this feedlot (a mini-scandal in NZ because we're famous for grass-fed, free-range beef but... we don't entirely always do that) has been running since 1991 but it wasn't until activists brought up a drone and took video that suddenly it became a TV story.

      @natecull In the States, have not seen it with drones so much, but with cameras more specifically. Citizen video - and the outrage that springs from it - has been the difference between abuse of power and accountable power on many, many occasions.
