Thinking of spies and politics and culture, we had Ian Fleming and James Bond stories post war and in the sixties, LeCarre in the eighties and now I believe we're living through the Austin Powers turn of events.

I guess, this is a long-winded way of saying that history repeats itself as a farce. Or that I should critically watch the current crop of spy blockbusters so I can see into the future.
