Steve Herrick@Graham_Mitchell @mattcropp @Antanicus Speaking as a former political activist and current co-op activist, I'd say cooperators here in the US don't get involved in politics because one major party is made up of racist, authoritarian lunatics, and the other major party doesn't have a spine. The electoral system is hardwired to prevent minor parties from ever becoming major parties.
