      China’s embassy in Spain coerced the University of Salamanca regarding Taiwan.

      On October 2017 Taiwan Studies Area within the Master Program in East Asia Studies organised “Taiwan Cultural Days” at the University of Salamanca (Spain) School of Social Sciences.

      * For clarification purposes: all the events and activities were founded by private crowdsourcing, none was asked from any Taiwan governmental institution.

       

       

      This was the schedule:

      On Monday October 23th the University of Salamanca´s President and the School of Social Sciences´Dean both received the following email from the P.R. of China embassy in Spain:

      On Tuesday October 24th the School of Social Sciences´Dean sent out an email officially cancelling “Taiwan Cultural Days”activities.
