🇳🇴 Thor — backup account@SuricrasiaOnline Several of the protocols in the application layer feel a lot less prominent on today's Internet than they did in the past. Many of them are several layers down in the stack and almost take on a transport-like quality. For example, HTTP is used for all sorts of things and is hardly application specific anymore. Feels like there should be another layer here, for all the APIs and protocols that have been implemented on top of HTTP.
