And yes, I've played around with DosBox. - Kind of reminds me of all the contortions I'd make to a config file to get games to play on my old BBS.
Half the time I get things set up to play on a machine, and then don't bother playing. I guess I like the challenge to see if I can get all the parts to fit and work when they weren't really intended to.
