I shared this with my players because I thought it was interesting, particularly the bits about discovering character motivation at the table. But in thinking about it my players already do everything Matt suggests here, and avoid the things he warns against. I have amazing players, y'all, and I am so grateful to have them while I fumble through dungeon mastering.
