Holy shit. I did not expect this. It's almost certainly blown whatever small chance the NDP had of being re-elected. Probably, though, it's for the best in the long term. Regardless of environmental impacts, First Nations need to be *meaningfully* consulted, particular in BC where there are no treaties and everything is on unceded land.

@ink_slinger It's a huge victory for first nations, wildlife, the BC economy, and the planet. So happy about the result. I hope this is the end of the pipeline expansion effort. Such a stupid, harmful idea.
