At the supermarket cash register and I am listening to a guy talk to his friend about how he’s learning about Arrays in Java and the friend is absolutely incredulous

"So an array is like, a list of things you can put stuff in but the size is fixed" "oh like in python" "no no you have to declare ahead of time how big it is, you can’t append stuff" "so you have to like, pre-plan where everything goes??? what??"
