As I have mentioned before - I’m having some trouble with my pod being slow.
It does not seem to be the web server part, more database related. I will see if I can get it fixed once and for all. I have started to look into it again now. And I’m currently asking around.
The server has 8GB RAM, SSD and plenty of CPU so it’s at least not the hardware that’s the issue either.
Currently the server runs on Ubuntu, if I’m unable to resolve it then I will deploy a new installation on CentOS on some spare hardware that I’ve got, then replicate everything and see if it runs better.
If so then I can migrate the ubuntu server over to CentOS and run it on that. I will notify in advance what the plan will be. Either way - I just wanted to say again that I’m looking into things. I do not like it when it’s sluggish like it is now. #podmin #diaspora
