Strypey@Asidis #LMDE is a rolling released based on #DebianTesting, so it's constantly updated. Correct me if I'm wrong (anyone who knows) but my understanding is the numbered releases like this one only come out when there is a new release of #DebianStable. As it says in that blog piece, if #Ubuntu ever got canned, or went totally evil (instead of just casually disrespectful to its users), all Mint distros would switch to a Debian base.
