Alex@scumbling Behind bright colors and fairy tale adventure the premise of the show is telling the story about the last human living in the aftermath of a nuclear war. I'm not sure how much kids who watch that realize it, but the whole thing is pretty sad, and sometimes the show goes and explores that sadness.
When the show explored the story of ice king -- it seemed like it tried to explain dimentia, which was super sad episode.
