Back when I ran CS4 for my job, core count was king. In my experience, lots of fast ram and storage matters more IMHO. If your gonna use Creative Cloud it should be multi threated.

For professional work, your gonna want a discreet graphics card, but that is $$$$$$$$$. For a laptop it might be worth it to invest in a external graphics card to do all the heavy lifting.

All this is just my opinion though.
