Sometimes I think I should take up running just so I can eat whatever I want without worrying about weight gain, but then I remember that I'm lazy and it's easier to just watch what I eat.

@ink_slinger Its been shown that for weightloss or weight control, food is so much more effective than exercising, if you had to choose just one.

@Toxic_Flange True. I'd have to run A LOT to truly make it worthwhile as an excuse to eat whatever junk I wanted, and I'm probably never going to run a marathon.

@ink_slinger I've also found that for weightloss/control during my research for my own impending lifestyle change (afraid of diabetes) , 20 minutes of high itensity workout is better for burning calories than a steady state cardio workout like running or biking. I'm also a fan of weight lifing. I lost so much fat and got some nice toning in a few short months when I did start working out!
