    @ring I'm installing #Ring on Trisquel 8 using the instructions for Ubuntu 16.04. The command to add the "universe" repo throws an error. After a bit of head-scratching, I just skipped that step and it seems to be working. Would be good to put a note in your installation instructions warning Trisquel users about this.

      @ring also, given that Ring is now #GNU package, it would be nice to see at least one of the distros endorsed by the FSF officially supported in those instructions. #Trisquel would be the obvious candidate, since it's the one most focused on new #GNU-Linux users. All you'd need to do is add Trisquel to the drop-down menu, and the Ubuntu instructions minus the add universe command. Can't wait to try out Ring!
