@purplehippo @moonman No but it seems like that. They spend much less on actual browser development than the development of tracking technologies, and their main source of revenue _by a country mile_ is selling access to the data they scrape.
The way they get around privacy concerns (apparently) is that they just sell access to the database, not the actual database. Which is different in some material fashion in a world where you can export a whole DB in one transaction, I don't know how.
