   Took apart the old kitchen faucet. In the process of installing the new one, I realize I need adaptors to connect the faucet supply lines to the house lines. Canadian Tire and Home Depot are both closed by the time I realize this, so I begrudgingly go to two different Walmarts. Neither has what I need. I realize Lowe's is still open so I go and buy...the wrong parts. And now they're closed, too.

      I'm unreasonably pissed off about this, partly because it means I temporarily have no water in the kitchen, but mostly because it makes me feel inept. And, I'm inept at many "handyman" things, but basic plumbing is something I'm usually pretty OK at, which makes the especially frustrating.

      Drove to work instead of walking today. Went to Canadian Tire at lunch. Bought what I thought was the part I needed. Went home, tried to hook it up...nope. Wrong fucking thing again.

            @thurloat Side note: I never watched that show regularly, but saw it often enough to realize that it's called Everybody Loves Raymond because calling it Everybody Hates Robert would have been too depressing.

         Went to the professional parts store, got proper help and the correct part. Hooked that shit up in under 5 minutes and still got to bowling league on time. Bowled badly tonight, though.
