The next TV format after 16:9 will be 16:12. First, we made your screen wider, and now we're going to make it taller!
"But the fraction 16:12 reduces to 4:3!" I hear you say, and this is indeed correct...
...but who can say no to having a screen that is both wide and tall at the same time? I know I can't!
Watch out for brand new 16:12 TVs from the major manufacturers in 2019, folks!
