    @puffinux @mart +1 the core is solid. Would be great to see apps dedicated to a specific style of chat though - both small-group (like Signal) and large-group (like IRC) are possible on matrix, but Riot doesn't differentiate.

    (Not my original idea, see https://blogs.gnome.org/tbernard/2018/05/16/banquets-and-barbecues/ for deeper analysis :P)

      @puffinux @mart that said, there's already a wealth of generic matrix clients. I'm using riot on android and nheko on desktop
