Watching Nothing To Hide, it occurs to me that #advertising and #surveillance are to the internet, as #GlobalWarming and #ClimateChange are to long distance transport.

It also reminds me of ZoneAlarm, the proprietary 'personal firewall' program we used to install on #Windows so we could identify and block third-party spyware from phoning home over our dial-up and DSL internet connections. Are there #FreeCode equivalents for #Android/Linux and #iThings, that can allow us to block and identify apps that are phoning home over our cell modem or WiFi?
