I have a very old Core2Duo desktop with 3GB RAM that I use to stream 1080p videos, play music and watch videos on Parole Player.
It passed its QC in 2009. Running Minimal Ubuntu XFCE 16.04.

Now, please tell me how great Windows 10 will run on this machine?

I'm in a very similar situation to you! Core 2 Duo, 4 Giggles of RAM, still works reasonably fast with Debian and KDE Plasma 5. It only struggles a little with playing DVDs, and sometimes it doesn't communicate with the battery properly so it shuts down thinking it has no power. It's very usable, and makes me wonder why the average person needs much more than this (unless they're going to play games— yesterday I checked how well it can play Minecraft, and it lags a lot).
