I've been dipping my toes in #ArchLinux on a VM over the last few days. It so reminds me of way-back-when, when a #Gentoo reinstall meant bootstrapping a compiler to build the base system and then build from there. I ran an entire hosting business on Gentoo back then, and really loved the stability and simplicity of my systems. Since, I've been running mostly Debian-esque OS'es (currently Pop!_OS on my laptops). Maybe I'll give Arch a proper test-run on a spare laptop and see how it goes.
