@deadsuperhero Slack is strange and I don't really like it. I have to work with it as well. I'm working in a group that's preparing a referendum for a better bicycle situation in my home town (Hamburg). -

I have mixed feelings on it. I think the convenience factor of Slack is extremely good; it's nice to be able to pop over to the engineering department to discuss something high-level, then talk to the sales team about deal terms for a specific customer affected by an engineering issue.
However, the biggest problem I see with it (aside from being proprietary and not decentralized) is the overabundance of channels that an organization gets after using it for more than a year

@deadsuperhero I'm missing things like a calendar. And I have the feeling that the notifications on the mobile app aren't so good. Means: I comment on a post, then someone answers it - but I don't get notified.
In fact i mostly miss significant parts of the conversation.
