@lilitu On a philosophical level I don't think it's impossible to have a non-hypocritical belief system that advocates violence to the outgroup and compassion to the in-group. Historically, hell even currently, there are plenty of beliefs which are openly "death to the heathens, take care of your bother". I mean, there are rather famous organisations that openly operate both a military branch and a charity branch in the middle east. The hypocrisy actually seems to be more of a modern western thing where you can't afford the bad PR of being an organization seeking to change policy through violence and intimidation.
