Real Money maxes out at 65,535 dollars, unless you want to be able to represent debts, in which case it's half that. Also, everybody has access to all bank accounts.

But, if you want to switch to Protected Money, you need to do a trick where you suspend interruptions and rewrite the GDP and the IMF. Even then, you only get 32 bits worth of money.

In 2004, they introduced Long Money, which can represent more dollars than atoms in the universe. It also introduces the 'cent'.

We top out at 64 bits because intel doesn't want to break compatibility with the 4004.
