Today I decided to start and give Diaspora a try. I'm not really an 'electronic social network' kind of guy, but I did spend some time on Google+. The latest developments around that platform triggered me in broadening my horizon and look for an alternative platform. FB is not my cup of tea, I'm looking for something more open and reasonable where people remain human and not merely a product. I'll try and become an active Diaspora user the upcoming time, and see if we are a match :-)
By the way, how does the public here regard Mastadon? It seems to me that Mastadon is to Twitter what Diaspora is to Google+.
