I've continued to be fascinated by what I term as the human condition. And so an extension of that curiosity would be to raise my own children and learn through them. There are things about us that only having children can teach us, just as there are things about us that only having a relationship can teach us. We are better off for learning and knowing ourselves, if we can handle that. Just as we are for learning to relate to those around us. It teaches us an invaluable skillset. It's not an easy thing but the potential benefits outweigh that for me, and I hope this is something that I can teach my children.
