    I've seen these kinds of conversations inside both Microsoft and Salesforce. It's a great way to keep tech companies accountable, because there's so much competition for talent, so employees have a lot of bargaining power.

      @nolan The sad reality is that despite the PR spin Google has probably always been evil. It has just become more overt in recent years. There's also a Wikileaks book along those lines. Microsoft definitely always was, and wasn't very appologetic about it. Gates and Ballmer had a much more "in your face" attitude about their unethical behavior.
