Felt a bit like mid-season monster-of-the-week filler rather than a Big Intro, which turned me off a bit since Whittaker doesn't seem as cool as 12/11/10 yet. And the crane-top "we can honour who we've been while choosing who we will be next" speech seemed a bit blunted by Chibnall using it to have a go at critics; he's justified, but don't ruin big speeches with it. 1/2
