I don't think I like the implications of experimenting on school children by treating them as though they are gender/sex neutral. It potentially creates more confusion where there otherwise wouldn't be for most.

There are obvious differences between the sexes, and it is good to differentiate... later on, those children can decide for themselves whether they identify with their sex or not. Or what gender they prefer. But I don't think we should be experimenting on them over it.
