   Today I participated in a training about Storytelling and Influencing at my work. While I'm located in China, the trainer was an American guy.

   One of the first exercises was to pick one famous storyteller and identify why they were successful. After each participant shared their thoughts, the trainer would do a "yes, and" and add some support himself.

   I'd immediately recognized him as a New York Democrat, so being facetious, I picked Trump. (1/2)

      As evidence for him being a good storyteller, I mentioned things like "having an easy to understand message, staying consistent, targeting a specific audience, keeping his message short".

      Comedy gold, seeing the trainer then having to defend Trump and say something nice about him and acknowledging his skills.

      Though he later on referred to Trump as "that orange freak", I still appreciated he went along with it though. (2/2)
