    Apparently there is a local company called "Casino Party" that basically brings a fake casino to you (for corporate events, xmas parties, etc.). You get all the fun of gambling, with none of the pay off if you actually win! It's all fake money!

    I'm not much of a gambler, but this seems truly ridiculous to me. Most of the "fun" of gambling comes from the risk-reward excitement, not the act of rolling dice or spinning a roulette wheel.

      I mean, for card games that involve some degree of skill, there is pleasure to be found in simply winning because it means you're actually good at poker (or whatever game you prefer). But games of chance? Literally the only reason these are exciting is because you might win money. I guess maybe the person with the most fake money at the end of the night gets a prize, though? That would be OK, I suppose.

        @ink_slinger I would not be surprised if people just like the notion of winning, regardless of what is at stake.
