   Yo all. Anyone caught off guard over this kerfuffle in Hollyweird? I'm sick of hearing about it. This has been going on since the silent film era. If we could get a nickle for every time someone's knickers hit the floor in search of fame and fortune, we'd all be in the clover.

      These are people who peacock all over the place about their support of women and how bad conservatives are to women and then blindly ignore systematic sexual harassment and rape in their own industry and everyone has at least heard whispers of (and KNEW of Weinstein's antics).

      Hollywood's chickens have come home to roost.

         Yo @DrChris imo the chickens will roost when the 50% of the audience they lambaste quits consuming their products. I think that this is happening but as slow as molasses in Feb.

         Seems to me that people subcontracting out their entertainment time and money are getting fucked with no kisses. Or getting shot.

         A deck of cards is a buck. Playing with friends and family is social and invaluable. Much better entertainment, in my book.

         Hollyweird rapes us all.

            It's been a long time since a deck of cards was a buck @YoVinnie but it's still cheaper than a movie ticket by a long shot.

            And you are correct: the only winning move is to not to watch. I rarely give any of my gold pressed latinum to the entertainment industrial complex. If there were some actual competition for Comcast, I'd tell them to fuck themselves gently with a chainsaw.
