All distro upstream to the central Illumos-gate development branch. OpenIndiana is targeted to professional workstation, the way OpenSolaris used to be,but can be used as desktop/server too. Tribblix is the most desktop-focused distro, with DilOS, OpenIndian and XStreamOS representing great alternatives
