I know where the term "NPC" comes from, but deploying it as a meme is just nonsensical, and making thousands of sockpuppet accounts on the birdsite is just a huge waste of time. It doesn't even rise to the level of an insult, because something has to make some kind of sense in order to be insulting. It's just bizarre.
