it's weird to me that people want to go back to these places. I could never go back to my parents home town and the worth stuff that happened was basic teenage nonsense.

My wife's parents go back to Vietnam despite step brother-in-law's mother and sister drowning when their boat was shot when they tried to escape.

I guess I see my parents at our mutual Christmas location. Maybe I'll feel differently once my parents are unable to travel.

Also, I have been back, but it's been years.
