@Jason_Dodd I've been through several self-service airports and conference registrations in the past few days, and I gotta say, removing humans from service industry jobs IS NOT WORKING. It's insanely frustrating to be staring at a dumb kiosk at 4am, in the morning, that's rendering an error with no details and no recourse.
I'm not saying all humans are necessarily smarter than that, but at least you can try to reason with them.
