I am extremely frustrated with the GNU "Kind Communication" announcement http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/info-gnu/2018-10/msg00001.html

Extremely tone deaf (especially footnote 2); puts down CoCs and ignores their motivations; would have been better to say nothing than publish this right now.

Especially frustrated with "people might have quit". I *did* quit g-p-d because of how *badly* the diversity conversation was going.
