   The 2nd segment of the network I've been designing is up and running in the next building as of today. I brought the first segment up in the building I live in a couple of years back. It was upgraded with smart switches and a new router about a month ago in preparation for the extension me and the electrician are working on now. A 3rd segment will soon be brought up in another building next door.

      A number of workmen from Eastern Europe live in the building I just upgraded, and are now enjoying vastly improved Internet speeds. The building is old and run-down, and they don't enjoy many luxuries, but now they can enjoy a fast Internet connection and call their wives/kids back home.
