@YoVinnie I cannot for the life of me - and multiple rounds of search terms - find the farewell/award acceptance address of a (Pittsburgh??) newspaper editor ca. early 1960s.
He basically called out his illustrious peers as fraudulent whores dutifully "servicing" the powerful in commerce and "public" service.
Lock down of on-line citizen investigations of vegas and ham-fisted insistence on the lone-gunman #narrative could break the bank of the "control-grid" and force (((them))) to WW3 gambit.

Yo @temporaryDouchebag this doesn't ring a bell. There's only one paper (Post-Gazette) showing up for Pittsburgh now. I think they had a couple more back in the 60's. Pittsburgh Press springs to mind.
The whole NE corridor had lots more papers back then. I'll do some searches too. This rant would be interesting to find .
