    Every Mastodon app ever: Let's NOT display the toot you just posted so you have to refresh to see it.

    Some Mastodon apps: Let's also NOT allow you to actually perform that refresh if you're viewing a thread, leaving you with no option but to go back and forward in order to view your own reply, or any other reply that may have appeared since the thread last loaded.

      Also every Mastodon app ever: Let's not implement any kind of live refreshing, even though this would be possible to do, without any scroll glitches, in a native app.
