   I need advice on purchasing my first rifle aside from my Marlin Model 60 .22lr. I'm thinking ar_15, reliable, no frills, but I'm sure there are options I don't yet understand. Maybe even a link to specific content by firearms bloggers/vloggers evaluating the choices in the semi-auto rifle realm.

   Before I go looking for content or advice elsewhere, I figured I'd ask you. Thank you in advance.

      Yo @SLRock what are you planning on using the rifle for? Semi a requirement? Beer budget or Champagne? Particular caliber?

      You in Commiefornia? That can make a difference too.

      I haven't been in the market, but I'm sure there's panic buying going on. Will effect price.

      Making your own is always an option too.
