Those that focus on the immigrant are largely emotional appeals, those that focus on the host nation run the gamut, but contain most of the sound economic and cultural arguments both ways.

Do notice much of the coverage in the news focuses on the immigrant(s) and emotionally loaded stories that develop sympathy without perspective.
