Most cats will learn the difference between right and wrong if you show them.

My cat? He doesn't have the slightest clue. If I make a move that accidentally resembles what he thinks is me about to chase him away, he'll dart across the room, just in case.

Instead of learning that there are certain things he can't do, he has learned that he needs to watch my movements, and he's not smart enough to see a pattern to it, so to him, I'm this unpredictable ape that gets mad at random times.
