@fsfe this is how I've looked at it for years.

No person always does the right thing. Not even ourselves. We can't expect a group of people to always do the right thing.

We should encourage them to use and work on Free Software.

Small steps can lead to great strides.

We should also laud those who start with great strides and stick with it :)
