Isn't this just like you said earlier about "turning paranoia into a career path". To be smart is to use what you've got, even the negative, and turn this to your advantage. Artists do it all the time. (I wish I could monetize my own failings and idiosyncrasies - I'd be a rich man or at least better a better breadwinner!)
