I just ordered this ASUS thing for my landlord's desktop computer, since he doesn't want to use a cable.

You don't really see this grade of equipment deployed with consumers very often. I'm not sure why. Sure, it costs more, but people are often willing to pay if the equipment is good.

Is there some kind of perception among IT professionals that only they should have access to the good stuff?
