   I haven't actually run into a single other person on the Internet whose real first name is Thor. Even in real life, I'm usually the only Thor around. The modern spelling Tor is more common in Norway, but usually, that name is hyphenated with another name—Tor-Egil, Tor-Kjetil, Tor-Erling, etc.—and that's the name they go by. I have a middle name, however: Harald (English: Harold)
   No hyphen in my case, so I usually go by Thor alone, and that's they way I've always liked it.
