   It's almost shocking to me how important having a job gets when you don't have one. It's much tougher for me to be unemployed now, at age 35, than it was when I was 25.

      I keep asking myself if it was a bad idea to quit the job I had earlier, and the answer keeps coming back that the environment there just didn't work for me. I would've been fired if I hadn't quit on my own, because I wasn't functioning properly in that job.
