    Here's a tough one:

I got two #laptops here, one with Core i5 the other with i7. Everything else is exactly the same. Compontents, revisions, BIOS...
Booting current #Ubuntu, #openSUSE and #Fedora versions leaves me with completely broken network on the i5 machin as it can't get a #DHCP lease. No ethernet, no wifi, no usb-to-LAN - nothing.
The i7 powered laptop works disregarding which OS and distribution.

On the other hand Gentoo-based "SysRescueDisc" and Win10 both run flawless on both machines.

    Any thoughts?
